The X-Men team up with their sworn enemies,
Magneto and his Brotherhood, to stop the greatest threat of
all: Apocalypse. Activision's X-MEN LEGENDS II: RISE OF APOCALYPSE
for the PSP allows players to control both good and evil mutants
in one of the most popular franchises of all time. The game
begins with X-Men Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops and the Brotherhood's
Magneto, Sabertooth, and Mystique saving Professor X from
Apocalypse's prison. Apocalypse, one of the most powerful
mutants in the X-Men series, has destroyed the mutant haven
of Genosha and kidnapped four powerful mutants, including
Quicksilver, Magneto's son. He plans to extract their powers
and incorporate them into his own, making him unstoppable.
Players have 15 mutants to select their party of four from,
including Gambit, Toad, Bishop, and Pyro. Each mutant has
his or her own unique abilities and powers, and players will
need to learn how to use each to get through certain areas.
The game is divided into five stages, and the end of the first
four, players will face off against one of Apocalypse's powerful
henchmen, the Horsemen. There are also many more cameo appearances
scattered throughout the game, and a number of unlockable
extras like hidden characters, classic uniforms, and other
skins. Players can also play the game cooperatively, with
up to four players joining in the mutant melee. But whether
alone or with friends, X-MEN LEGENDS II: RISE OF APOCALYPSE
is full of all the action, excitement, and mutant powers X-MEN
fans love.

With a lot of action, great graphics, challenging
missions, and outstanding voice acting, SCEA's PURSUIT FORCE
for the PSP brings players awesome car combat just like the
classics. The game has plenty of challenge, variety, and excitement
for the racing fan who likes a bit of combat and violence
with a little third person shooting tossed in. Players are
put in the role of a rookie cop in a new division of the Capital
City police force. Headed by a old, crotchety chief, players
will be sent on missions to apprehend the five different gangs
of the city. Each gang has their own unique look, vehicles,
and areas of the city, so players will be introduced to a
variety of different villains throughout the game. Most missions
begin with players behind the wheel of a motorcycle, car,
boat, or other vehicle in pursuit of or searching for members
of the gangs. Once the gang members have been cornered, the
game shifts into shooter mode. Players have a good number
of weapons to shoot from, including some explosive ones that
can actually destroy gang cars. This is a viable option to
taking out the gang members themselves, since the game rarely
requires them be taken alive. In addition to the story mode,
there are also racing modes and time trial modes for players
to master. While the title may not be appropriate for younger
games, mature racing fans will enjoy the high speed action
and combat of PURSUIT FORCE.

In Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice, the gangs,
hoodlums and ruffians of Capital City are out of control.
Needless to say, it's up to you to, literally, drive them
out of town. However, that's trickier than it sounds, thanks
to the introduction of new gangs specialising in their own
forms of chaos. Plus, you've now got to deal with a rival
squad of "heavy-handed" police called the Viper
division. Thankfully, you've got a string of vehicles at your
disposal and can leap between planes, hovercraft, jet skis,
tanks, trains and helicopters in your pursuit of justice.
Other new features include a a "Justice Bar" that
helps you to regain strength and prolong missions and a four-player
wireless mode for multiplayer pursuits.
